Application for Advanced Master's Status

This form allows master’s degree students who meet advanced status requirements to enroll in a specific one-credit registration course that certifies students as full-time.

This form requires signatures of the student’s Advisor and Director of Graduate Studies.

Use this form if...

You have met eligibility requirements for advanced master’s status and plan to register for XXXX8333 

  • All Degree Program coursework is complete and grades are posted to the transcript (except Plan B project course, if applicable)
  • If Plan A, you have completed the 10 semester credits of xxxx8777

Don't use this form if...

  • You are not a master’s Plan A or Plan B student
  • You have not completed the necessary requirements for advanced master’s status

Next steps

Once this form is completed and signed by the student's advisor and the Director of Graduate Studies, it must be submitted to the Graduate Student Services and Progress Office (GSSP) for final approval.
