Add a Master's Degree to Doctoral Program (GPAS)

This form is used by active doctoral students to add a master’s degree to the same doctoral program if your program supports this process. This process is also available for EPSY Specialist Certificate students to add a Master of Arts in EPSY.

Adding a master’s to a different program can be done through Graduate Admissions.

  • Backdating is not possible. Adding a master’s to the same program must be processed for the current semester or a future semester. However, an added master’s degree will have the same start date as the doctoral program.
  • Not all programs offer all master’s plan types. You should work with your program to determine the best option based on your needs.
