The U of M has a diverse community of military veterans among students, faculty, and staff who have dedicated their lives in service to the country. In recognition of this commitment, the University of Minnesota proudly supports all veterans who are pursuing a world-class education and employment with the U of M.
This new and exciting campaign features photos and stories of our student and employee veterans while highlighting other social or personal identities in addition to their veteran status that are significant in their veteran and U of M story.
“As a female graduate of West Point and an Army combat engineer, there are countless learning experiences I lean on now. I feel very lucky to have experienced all I did while in the military. Though, I feel even luckier to meet great people in my journey, both in the Army and in law school.”
- Holly Harrington, Veteran Army First Lieutenant, Law student
