Coffman Memorial Union along with Northrop Mall, forms the heart of campus. The newly renovated union houses a central Minneapolis bookstore, student groups, bowling, billiards, a computer lab, and food court.
Across Washington Avenue lies Northrop Mall, a grassy area bounded by some of the most iconic buildings on campus. During good weather, Northop Mall is full of students, staff, and faculty relaxing, studying, and playing.
