Application status

The University of Minnesota and most of its lenders manage private loan certifications and disbursements through Education Loan Management (ELM) Resources. You can check the status of private loans that are certified through ELM by registering for this service at the ELM Web site.

If you are are unable to access your loan information at the ELM Web site, your lender may not be an ELM subscriber. Please call a One Stop Student Service Center counselor at 612-624-1111 or e-mail us at helpingu@umn.edu.
