How to get your aid on time

You will be sent an email confirming that your aid has been disbursed. Disbursement(s) of your financial aid will be made electronically to your University student account a few days prior to the start of each semester if you have:

  • registered on time for the minimum number of credits required by your financial aid award program(s);

  • completed all necessary paperwork (including promissory notes, if required);

  • no holds on your record that would prevent disbursement of your aid.

If you will be receiving a credit balance check after all of your outstanding tuition and fees have been paid, the funds will be sent via mail or direct deposit. Direct deposit is the fastest and safest way to get your excess financial aid funds. To sign up for direct deposit, go to Direct Deposit Online or go to Forms Online and download a Direct Deposit Authorization for Student Account Refunds form or contact One Stop Student Services for further information.

If you will be receiving a scholarship, contact your donor to ensure that they will be sending your scholarship check to the following address. This will ensure that your scholarship check is processed directly to your University student account.
