Student medical emergencies
Who can you turn to for answers to your financial aid and academic status questions if you have been injured or hospitalized?
When an unexpected emergency happens, you (or your spouse or a parent/guardian, if you are incapacitated) are encouraged to call 612-625-4007 to arrange for a One Stop Student Services counselor who will work as a liaison between your college and other University offices to make sure all of your questions and concerns are addressed.
You may need to make difficult decisions that will impact the present and the future. You may ask yourself: Do I need to drop all or part of my course work? What happens to my financial aid if I have to withdraw from all or part of my coursework? A One Stop counselor will help you understand your options so that you make decisions with your best interest in mind.
If you call One Stop outside of normal business hours (8 am-4:30 pm, M-F), leave a message and a One Stop counselor will contact you the next business day.
