Prerequisite Courses
If you are required to take prerequisite courses before admission to an undergraduate, graduate, or professional program, you may be eligible for federal student loans for 12 consecutive months, as an exception to the requirement that you must be admitted to a degree or certificate program to receive financial aid.
You will be required to complete the Prerequisite Course Work Certification form available at Forms Online or for pick up from the One Stop Student Services Center that includes a section to be completed by your college adviser or the Admissions Office. The form must be submitted by the date that corresponds with your last term of attendance.
